OUR MISSION

To share the love of God as we meet people in their brokenness and help them along the path to find their healing.

Our Vision

Removing barriers so that each person can get the help they need.

Our Values

  1. Each person is made in the image of God and inherently has great value.
  2. We fulfill our purpose when we help those in need.
  3. We believe most people want help but may have trouble finding it or accepting it.
  4. We understand our role is to be an advocate and assist the person in need to get help even though it may be difficult and time-consuming.
  5. We will not give up on our brothers and sisters.

Our Method

One of our primary goals is to help our brothers and sisters who are unsheltered to have a pathway to get off the streets and on the road to recovery.

This means working to remove barriers that might make it difficult to get the help they need.

Our model is a wraparound service model in which we strive to make the resources each person needs accessible.  If we were to put it in a diagram it would look like this:

We start by offering some basic services that a person might want to access such as a day shelter, showers, clean clothes, computer or wifi access, a meal, assistance with filling out applications, get one’s ID, and have a person who is knowledgeable (Community Navigator) ready to work alongside you to help you get connected with the resources that will help you take a step out of crisis and towards stability.

In the winter, we provide life-saving emergency shelter as a safety while we work to help each person find more suitable longer-term stability.
We work with each person to develop an individualized care plan where we set goals and work alongside each person as we make progress on those goals.

We have a MOVES MANAGEMENT methodology that meets each person where they are currently at, then work with them to takes steps (Moves) towards stability and self-sufficiency.  The goal is that each person will have stable housing suitable to their needs and a healthy support system to prevent old cycles from rising back up.
